Still Lingering was co-composed by Mavis Hee and Lin Si Tong, with lyrics, production and vocals by Lin. The song portrays a relationship caught between closeness and distance, never finding a name or a clear direction. Like rain that refuses to stop, memories repeatedly reopen wounds that have only just begun to heal. Walking away does not mean that love has disappeared; it is the quiet realisation that remaining close would only leave both people more lost. Restrained and reflective, the song captures the clarity, release and acceptance found within an unspoken goodbye.
